I was born in Bristol, England where I studied and lived until the time came to go to university.

After gaining a Distinction level grade at Filton College, Bristol for Foundation Diploma Art and Design,
I studied BA (hons) 3D design at the University of Portsmouth. After a year of experimentation and exploration I realised jewellery was my real passion.

I spent second and third year designing and creating sculptural jewellery which reflected a variety of themes such as perceptions of pain, cultural hair styles and stigmas attached to beliefs.


Since leaving university I have continued to develop my own style of unconventional jewellery; creating my latest collection, SooPrene. As a full-time job I have also been working as a jewellery designer and goldsmith..
